Frequently Asked Questions

Bookings & Cancellations

What is your cancellation policy?

Class reservations must be cancelled at least 8 hours prior to the scheduled class start time to avoid a late cancellation fee or loss of credit.

Reservations cancelled within the 8-hour window are subject to the following:

  • Clients on a standard membership or class package will incur a loss of class credit
  • Unlimited membership holders and 2-week trial offer guests will incur a $25 late cancellation fee, charged automatically to the card on file

No-shows are subject to the following:

  • Clients on a standard membership or class package will incur a loss of class credit
  • Unlimited membership holders and 2-week trial offer guests will incur a $29 no-show fee, charged automatically to the card on file

We do not accept standard cancellations by email, phone, or social media message. All reservations must be cancelled directly through your account on our website or mobile app.

We strongly encourage all clients to review their purchase details carefully before completing any transaction. This includes confirming that they are purchasing from Lagree Kelowna. Purchases made in error, including those intended for another fitness studio, are not eligible for a refund, transfer, or exchange.

Exceptions are not made for unused credits, scheduling conflicts, change of mind, or purchases made for the incorrect studio.

How do I cancel my class?

To cancel a reservation:

  • Log into your account through our website or mobile app
  • Navigate to "Upcoming Reservations"
  • Select the reservation you'd like to cancel
  • Click "Cancel Reservation"

If you experience any issues accessing your account, please contact our team prior to the cancellation window closing.

Can I switch classes within the cancellation window?

Reservations changed within the 8-hour cancellation window are subject to the late cancellation policy. Cancelling and rebooking into another class — on the same day or at a different time — does not exempt a client from the applicable fee or loss of credit.

How do grace cancellations work?

All clients are entitled to grace cancellations, subject to the following limits:

  • Standard membership & class package holders: 2 complimentary grace cancellations per calendar year
  • Unlimited membership holders: 1 complimentary grace cancellation per quarter

Grace cancellations must be requested by email to info@lagree-kelowna.com before the fee is processed. This is the only way to prevent the automatic charge or loss of credit from being applied.

If a fee has already been processed before a grace cancellation is requested, a refund will be issued to your account balance only. The charge will not be reversed to the original card on file. Account balance credits may be applied toward future class bookings.

What happens if I late cancel or no-show for a complimentary class?

Late cancellations on complimentary classes, guest passes, promotions, and free events are subject to the same cancellation and no-show policy as standard reservations.

Waitlist

How does the waitlist work?

If the class you'd like to take is full, we highly recommend joining the waitlist. To join, you must have an active class credit or membership available on your account.

If a spot opens more than 1 hour before class: You will be automatically added to the class. The standard cancellation policy applies — you may still cancel penalty-free if you do so within the allowed window.

If a spot opens between 1 and 8 hours before class: You will be automatically added to the class. The reservation is final — late cancellation and no-show policies apply.

If a spot opens within 1 hour of class: The waitlist closes. Any remaining spots become available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you no longer want the class: Remove yourself from the waitlist before being added. Your class credit will be returned to your account automatically. If you do not remove yourself and get pulled into the class, our standard cancellation policy will apply.

If you are not pulled from the waitlist: Your class credit will be automatically returned to your account. No action is required.

You will receive an email confirmation when you are added to the waitlist, and again if you are moved into the class. Please ensure these emails are not going to your junk or spam folder.

Late Arrivals & First Class

What is your late arrival policy?

Out of respect for instructors and fellow guests, late entry into class is not permitted.

Clients arriving more than 5 minutes after the scheduled class start time will be denied entry. Our team will offer the option to reschedule to another available class time that day. If no same-day class is available or the client chooses not to reschedule, the reservation will be subject to the applicable no-show fee or loss of credit.

Do I need to arrive early for my first class?

Yes. If this is your first class at our studio, you are required to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled class time to complete a mandatory safety orientation. This applies regardless of prior Lagree experience at other studios.

Clients who do not arrive in time to complete the orientation will be denied entry. Our team will offer the option to reschedule to another available class time that day. If no same-day class is available or the client chooses not to reschedule, the applicable no-show policy will apply and your spot will be forfeited to any standby guests.

Memberships, Credits & Refunds

Are services refundable?

All sales are final. Services, memberships, class packages, and promotional offers purchased through Lagree Kelowna are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable. All services must be purchased and prepaid prior to booking or attending class.

We strongly encourage all clients to review purchase details carefully before completing any transaction, as exceptions are not made for unused credits, scheduling conflicts, or change of mind.

In exceptional circumstances — such as a serious medical situation — requests may be submitted in writing to info@lagree-kelowna.com for review at the sole discretion of studio management. Submitting a request does not guarantee an outcome, and all decisions are final.

When do my credits expire?

All credit packages come with an expiration date, which is outlined at the time of purchase. We strongly encourage all clients to review these details carefully before completing any transaction.

Credits on standard memberships do not roll over into the following month. Unused credits will expire at the end of each billing cycle and cannot be carried forward.

Lagree Kelowna is unable to retroactively reinstate credits that have already reached their expiration date. Once expired, credits are forfeited without exception.

Can I extend my credits?

If a credit extension is required due to a medical emergency, a request must be submitted in writing to info@lagree-kelowna.com no later than 7 days prior to the credits' expiration date.

Requests received within less than 7 days of the expiration date cannot be guaranteed. As with all exception requests, decisions are made at the sole discretion of studio management and are final.

How do I freeze my membership?

Members may place their membership on hold at any point during their active membership term.

Freeze terms:

  • Minimum freeze duration: 14 days
  • Maximum freeze duration: 90 days
  • Each member is entitled to 1 complimentary freeze per calendar year
  • Any additional freeze requests within the same calendar year are subject to a $25 freeze fee

Freeze requests must be submitted by email to info@lagree-kelowna.com and must include your exact requested start and end dates. Requests must be received no later than 7 days before the freeze start date. Requests submitted after this window may not be accommodated.

Studio Etiquette

What is your phone policy in the studio?
  • All phones must be set to silent upon entering the studio
  • Filming or recording of any kind during class is strictly prohibited
  • We ask that all guests remain mindful of others and contribute to a respectful, distraction-free environment
Are grip socks required?

Yes. Grip socks are required for all classes without exception. This is a non-negotiable hygiene and safety standard. Socks must be closed-toe with grip on the sole.

Clients without grip socks will not be permitted entry into class. Grip socks are available for purchase at the studio front desk.

All equipment must also be wiped down thoroughly after use. Cleaning supplies are provided throughout the studio.

Are pets allowed in the studio?

While we love your furry friends, for safety reasons and out of respect for the experience of all clients, pets are not permitted inside the studio during class times.

Clients requiring a service dog are kindly asked to contact us in advance at info@lagree-kelowna.com so our team can best accommodate your visit. In accordance with applicable regulations, we may ask whether the service animal is required because of a disability and what task the animal has been trained to perform.

Are children allowed in the studio?

To maintain a safe and focused environment for all clients, children are not permitted in the studio at any time. Lagree Kelowna does not offer childcare services, and for both safety and liability reasons, we are unable to accommodate children in the lobby or workout space during class times, including infants in carriers or strollers.

If you arrive to class with a child, our team will kindly ask that you return at another time.

Health & Safety

Can I take class if I am pregnant?

Lagree is a low-impact but highly demanding full-body workout. We ask that all clients with pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns consult with their physician before attending class.

If you were regularly attending Lagree Kelowna prior to becoming pregnant: You may continue to take class as long as you feel comfortable and have received explicit approval from your physician. We recommend discussing the intensity and core-focused nature of our classes with your doctor before continuing.

If you are new to Lagree Kelowna: We do not recommend starting for the first time during pregnancy. Medical guidance advises against beginning a new high-intensity or core-intensive workout while pregnant.

Returning postpartum: Your physician should clear all post-pregnancy physical activity before you return to class. As a general guideline, doctors typically recommend waiting a minimum of 8 weeks following a vaginal birth and 10–12 weeks following a caesarean section. We encourage all postpartum clients to ease back in gradually and listen to their bodies.

Can I take class while recovering from an injury?

If you are recovering from surgery or a significant injury — including but not limited to knee, back, or shoulder procedures — we strongly advise waiting until you have received clearance from your physician before returning to Lagree Kelowna.

When you are ready to return, we recommend considering a private session as a first step. Private sessions are tailored to your individual needs and allow our instructors to work with you at your own pace before transitioning back into a group class setting. Please contact us at info@lagree-kelowna.com to learn more or to book.

What is the minimum age requirement?

Clients must be at least 17 years of age to attend classes at Lagree Kelowna.

All clients under the age of 19 must have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign an additional waiver prior to attending their first class. This waiver must be submitted digitally to info@lagree-kelowna.com at the time of booking, and must be completed before arriving for class. Attendance will not be permitted until the waiver has been received.
